Osteria - Dubai, UAE11:24 AM
During Ramadan me and my family went out for dinner in a restaurant called Osteria that is an Authentic Italian Ristorante which serves a wide array of Italian dishes. The foods were very delicious and well prepared. It was really a great dinner since its been a while for us to eat together. Me and my sisters are living in the Philippines to study for college so we only see our parents during break in Dubai.
The place was decorated to have an identical setting like most stereotype Italian restaurant. The red checkered table cloth and the windows outside the restaurant was well integrated and I was highly impressed that they manage to pull it off even though it was located inside a mall.
For starters the food were exceptionally delicious, the bread was soft in the inside and crunchy on the outside and the dip enhanced the taste of the bread.
For the main dish we choose meat, fish, and pasta & Risotto.
I ordered an Osteria Combo Platter: Three greats in one dish! Home-made lasagna, lightly breaded chicken parmigiana and creamy fettucine alfredo. They served quite a large meal, we weren't able to finish all of our food.
My dad choose Osteria Fillet: An 8oz marinated tenderloin fillet in seasoned olive oil along with fresh aromatic herbs, served with your choice of sauce, roasted potatoes and sautéed green beans.
My sister choose Rustic Chicken and Shrimp: Succulent shrimp and tender chicken breast tossed with mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, Romano cheese with penne in a light tomato & cream sauce.
And for my little sister she choose:Shrimps, calamari, mussels sautéed with your choice of spicy marinara or alfredo served with linguini pasta. I forgot to take a picture of my mom's food, I guess I was very hungry back then and decided too eat already :))
For dessert we choose a rich, smooth and creamy cheesecake and chocolate cake.
Here are some of the pictures that I took when we were strolling around Burjuman mall, follow me on instagram to keep update with my whereabouts.
