ThirdLove: A Guide to "Bra-blems"

3:11 PM

All of us ladies may have encountered the "Bra-blems" in our life.Wearing the wrong bra can cause a major fashion crisis as well as depriving oneself from comfort. You might end up looking flat chested or indecent in public.

I have encountered "Bra-blems" and I can definitely tell you that it was majorly humiliating and disturbing. I may have overlook buying the right type and size of bra for a certain gown. One time I was wearing a strapless gown that required wearing a strapless bra for an event. Its was mandatory to dance in the middle of the room with your partner, it was like a cotillion. The venue for the event was surprisingly small.  When we all started dancing the rehearsed choreography we were bumping with one another and to make things worst my dress was too long that people started stepping on it.  The design of the gown was purposely long to make it look more elegant but that move was totally a wrong. My strapless gown was being pulled down along with my bra. Both the gown and bra were quite loose, it didn't fit me right. I didn't know what to do, I just couldn't stop dancing since we were being watched by a lot of people. My mind was screaming from the inside. Luckily one of the organizer saw my dilemma  and pulled me out of the dance floor. She quickly assisted and helped me with my fashion crisis. If it wasn't for her I may have suffered from public humiliation. After that incident I kept in mind that I would never again wear a bra and gown that wasn't the right fit for me.

If you ever experienced any "Bra-blems" follow these guidelines to prevent incident from  ever happening again . This guide can help step-up your judgement in choosing the right bra:

  14. This guide has helped me out in the past! Did you check out the breast shape dictionary on their site?- I found that to be the most interesting that you can actually shop for bras off of the shape of your breast!

  22. Thank you for these awesome tips! I can totally relate with the whole dress slipping thing! At homecoming several years ago, I wore a strapless dress with a strapless bra. But the dress was too loose because they only came in a size M and I needed an S. The dress started slipping in such a way that my bra was slipping too, even though my bra fits me. And I had to keep excusing myself from my date and my friends to go fix my dress. I was too worried to raise my arms too! I kept my arms by my sides, and I bet my date thought I was too uptight because of that! Haha
