Semi Formal Attire

8:24 PM

I wore this outfit during the debut of my friend Hazel Granil. Her debut was really glamorous, the interior was well designed, the program was entertaining and extravagant. My favorite part was her grand entrance. It was also like a mini reunion with my former high school friends.

Turning 18th in the Philippine is an important event for  a young women. It is the coming age of maturity for the debutant. It is usually celebrated with the traditional eighteen ceremonies that includes 18 roses, 18 wishes, 18 candles, 18 gift. As time passes tradition are altered, new ceremonies are created. The debutant has the choice to change the program according to her liking. May it be 18 shoes, 18 bags or even 18 cosplay as long as the number of participant is eighteen.

Glamorous arrangement of venue, breathe taking gown, and the perfect makeup. As the debutant walks inside the venue all eyes will be directed at her, as if she's the fairest of them all. It's like dreaming in reality. The best part of the celebration are the heart felt messages that comes from your relatives, friends and family. No one ever left the stage not feeling teary eyed. Let's not forget about the gifts that will be given, sleeping in a room full of gifts for the debutant to open in the morning. Magical right!? However, its a huge prize to pay for just one magical night.
