Keeping it Simple
7:56 AM
If you have noticed I've stop posting regularly from the past few days since I'm preparing to go back to the University again. I may become a bit inactive in the upcoming days since it will be hard to juggle studying and blogging at the same time. I hope I'll still have time to blog. Anyways, I've stroll around Souk Al Bahar and Dubai Mall I hope you'll enjoy my pictures.

The building behind me is known as "Burj Khalifa" which is the tallest building and has the fastest elevator in the world at the moment. It is located in Downtown, Dubai, however the building is owned by the Abu Dhabi government. The view from the top is amazing, I actually went there when I was still in Grade nine as field trip. Back then I have no idea that visiting Burj Khalifa was a big deal. If you ever have a trip in Dubai be sure to check this out and here a little tip, online booking is more inexpensive if you ever wanted to visit inside.
So today I'm wearing a dark blue top, acid wash denim pants from Forever 21 and a polo around my waist which I borrowed from my Mom's closet. I choose a dark and light color for this outfit in order to achieve a great contrast. The "shirt around the waist" have become a trend again since late 90's and I wanted to give it a shot. I really love how it spices up and adds flare to the whole look. Thank you for visiting :)

I am going to new school in September and I am well afraid. It's good that you are preparing to go to uni. If you will prepare then you will be stronger and no-one will break you. At least that is how I see it.

I've never been to Dubai but my ex boss is currently working there and he used to share how hot it is in Dubai. It would be lovely to visit Dubai, I think it's a very interesting place.
ReplyDeleteShireen | Reflection of Sanity
Your boss is telling the truth, the heat wave is just unbearable outside. Its really humid, its like your in a sauna when you try to walk in the streets. Ohh and the running water is so hot that it could actually burn your arm, it very hard to wash the dishes :))

Great photos, as always! I know what you mean about not realizing visiting that building is a big deal. I'm in the USA and I grew up close to New York City. The country is so big and I now live 2000 miles away and know several people who have never been there. I took for granted what was in my back yard. Good luck for when you go back to school! XO
